The Watershed and Flood Prevention Operations program provides planning, design and construction of measures that address resource concerns in a watershed through technical and financial assistance.
Eligible Uses
Flood prevention, watershed protection, agricultural water management, municipal and industrial water supply or water quality management.
Eligible Recipients
Local and tribal governments are all eligible.
Approx Annual Funding Amount
$500 million is available annually until expended.
Cost Share Requirements
A 1:1 cost share is required.
Application Cycle
Estimated application opening dates are the first quarter of each year.
